TD - CBC Writing Contest 

In October 2010, students from Gr. 5 and 6 submitted their entries to a TD-CBC Kids Book Club contest. Students had to write about their passion for reading and why it was important. The winning entry received a visit from an author, books for the class and the CBC weekend morning show came to record the event. Raafay's submission was the winning entry for Manitoba! In late October, Class 6S was treated to an author visit by Sharon Jennings. We were able to learn about her ideas, techniques and what motivates her to write. This inspirational visit will definitely keep this class reading and writing.
